When the opportunity to expand presented itself, Jamie took her thriving mobile business to the next level and opened a brick-and-mortar shop on Escalon's historic Main Street. The building that now houses The Butler's Pantry was once an old butcher shop and the building's former life is still evident in the original hardware and trappings visible throughout the shop.
With the mobile shopping trend growing the past few years it was surprising to owner, Jamie Brown-Butler, that there was a void in the mobile retail arena for housewares. So in May of 2013 The Butler’s Pantry, a converted linen truck, opened for business as the first mobile gourmet kitchen store.
This endeavor was the perfect opportunity to combine Jamie’s design background and the experience she garnered while buying for a home & gourmet store. Equipped with the knowledge of products, a keen eye for style and a focus on function Jamie was confident that she could supply the public with fresh, durable & appealing products for their kitchen and home.
With the truck bringing its kitchen gadgets, cookware, tabletop accessories and linens to you The Butler’s Pantry hopes to make your retail experience more personal, unique & convenient.
